Looking
for a Physician Weight Loss Product?
Physician weight loss product seems to be a great Idea on the surface.
And seems to be a wonderful concept...A weight loss
product that is formulated and recommended by a physician weight loss
expert. Obviously, here at 7 Habits of weightlosss
we believe in consulting with your health care professional before
beginning and while participating in any weight loss program. In
talking to the physicains I know and trust, I have found very few who would
recommend any specific weight loss product. And almost none
of them would consider themselves a physician weight loss expert. When
I've talked to them in the process of searching for information for
this website, the overwhelming majority have kept to the line of this
website and believe that permanent weight loss can only come through
changes in what you eat, how much of it, and increased physical
activity to burn what you do eat. Although these
days you can readily find someone who claims to be a physician
weight loss expert, and will happily recommend and occasionally even
prescribe a physician weight loss product. Most of
the ones I have talked to really only seem to have their bottom line in
mind. They are out to make money off of the incredibly high number of
obese people in this country. The quality physicians
prescribe basically the 7 habits, though not usually broken down so
nicely. And will refer you to a Nutritionist if you feel that you need
dietary advice on what to eat in the process of changing your eating
habits. Since 1979 there has been a company that
labels itself Physicians Weight Loss Centers, and they will happily
provide you with physician weight loss products and the services of
physician weight loss experts. Even though the center may not actually
have any Physician involved in the practice. They are merely following
the franchise companies business plan, and selling the information
provided to them by the parent company. Diets don't
help you permanently lose weight, they are a short term loss that
almost always results in increased gain after you go off of them due to
the poor practices they teach your body, and the damage they do in the
name of rapid, easy weight loss. Philip Kustner |
