Medifast
Diet Review
My
Medifast Diet Review may be viewed as favorable by some, but read on,
and decide if this is the plan for you.
The Medifast Weight
Loss Plan is all about meal replacement shakes, snack bars, and
pre-packaged/portion controlled meals. There is also some mention of
increasing your exercise, and you MUST drink large quantities of water
or non-sugared drinks. This keeps with the hydration
portion of this website.
One of the nicest things
about the medifast diet plan is that you don't have to think at all
while you are in the weight loss phase. If you simply do as you are
told, you will lose weight. No thought required. All you have to do is
eat their Meals, shakes, and snacks nearly exclusively.
Medifast
5 and 1
Medifast 5 and 1 is the primary medifast weight loss
plan.
This means that you will eat 6 times a day, never going
more than 3 hours between eating.
Medifast 5 and 1 means you
will be eating 5 medifast products per day, and 1 lean and green meal
that you prepare.
The five parts of company products includes
Medifast 55 shakes, or Medifast 70 shakes at least once per day as one
of your meals, and the recommended lists include two shakes per day.
You
will be eating Medifast Bars for your snacks.
And the One meal
you prepare yourself is basically a Green salad with a lean meat and
low cal dressing.
The Medifast 55 shakes are for
people who are lightly active, whereas the Medifast 70 shakes are
higher in protein with 10 more calories for those who are more
phyisically active or have more muscle mass that they are worried about
losing.
I really like this idea, it fits right in
with the eat more often
section. it guarantees that your body will not go into famine mode, and
moves into a burn rate based upon it believing that there will never be
a lack of food coming down the pipeline for use as an energy source.
Medifast
Diet and Weight Loss
The Medifast Diet and Weight Loss go
hand in hand.
If you follow the diet to a T, you will lose
weight.
You will be on an 800 to 1000 calorie per day diet.
Which should pretty much guarantee that you are burning more than you
are taking in.
You will get even better effects on the
Medifast Diet, and weight loss will be increased if you also increase metabolism
through light exercise.
My Medifast diet review
would not be
complete without me saying that while this diet will work if you stick
to it. It really is only for people who have a LOT of weight to lose.
This is not for people who only need to lose 10 to 20 pounds. You can
do that just by following the steps in this website.
The
Medifast Diet Plan does stick to the 7 habits outlined here, and they
will become VERY important when you start to wean yourself off of this
plan.
How do you plan on keeping the weight off when
you stop consuming just shakes and ready made diet foods?
You
will NEED to learn proper eating habits as you come off of the diet
phase of this program.
And to help you, Medifast does
have two more stages they call transition and maintenance. Which are
pretty generic words that pretty much say what they are about.
So,
to end my Medifast Diet Review, I need to point out that while this
will work, and it is easy, it is not the best way to lose weight
because you are liable to put it all back on, unless you take the time
to actually learn to eat properly as you ease into going off of the
prepared food diet.

called a Diet Food Program?
