Is an Herbal Nutrition
Supplement for me?
There
are many opinions as to the validity of herbal nutrition supplements.
We are talking about using tablets, shakes, or powders to make sure we
get the "required" dietary intake of nutrients every day.
The basic building blocks of life, so to speak.
Wow, this is pandora's box waiting to be opened...
Many of the so called 'Herbal Remedies' that are becoming popular here
in the West (AKA America) have been around for centuries, and sometimes
millennium in other cultures.
Yet Western science spends an incredible amount of time and money to
discount their effectiveness.
Western Science is not concerned with curing a problem, merely removing
the symptoms.
There is no money in a true cure. Eradication of health problems would
cause a MAJOR impact in their bottom line.
Now, are some herbal remedies, just plain FATAL? YES!!!!!!!!!
Just because it comes from nature does not make it good.
Some plants just don't want to be eaten by humans, so they have
developed defense mechanisms that kill us. It might not kill
the dog, but eating some of the plants in your yard may kill you.
Personally, so far as I'm concerned, Herbal Nutrition Supplements are
all about giving the body what it needs to do its job. The
Herbs don't "cure" anything. They provide the pieces the body
needs to be effective in its job of repairing damage to its systems.
Vitamins, don't cure anything, they provide building blocks. The basic
pieces that our bodies need to rebuild the cells that regularly die and
need to be replenished.
This allows the defensive systems to kill the parts they need to kill,
and the regenerative systems to replace the missing cells.
Body builders rip and tear muscles intentionally.
Because when those rips are allowed to repair themselves properly, they
come back bigger and stronger.
I cannot re-grow an arm or a finger, but every day, cells from every
piece of my body die, and are replaced with the healthiest ones my body
can build.
Why shouldn't I give those cells everything they need to be the best
cells they can be?
What's the real difference between eating all the fruits and vegetables
I'm supposed to eat each day, and taking herbal nutrition
supplements made from the same plants minus their water content? Or
should I take a tablet made from synthesized "Vitamins" with no clue as
to what their source is?
Gotta love personal choice.
Me, I say take the herbal nutrition supplements made from the plants I
should have eaten, and eat simply to get the rest. (See Nutrition Express) I
love my meats and grains. I don't want to give up the time to deal with
vegetables unless someone else is cooking.
Not all supplements are created equal.
Know the companies you deal with.
Take the time to Take
Control of what you are putting in your body.
